Profiteroles filled with Vanilla Ice Cream and Topped with Chocolate Sauce


Another cooking adventure for Simon and I. Since Tom prefers cooking to baking I'm in charge of the baking department. Since our family all love sweet things and especially chocolate I couldn't resist this recipe posted by our friend and fellow foodie lover, Azlin Bloor. Although I think hers were a bit taller, these were definitely light as a feather and really delicious! We chose to combine the profiteroles with French vanilla ice cream topped with a very thick (as you can see), warmed chocolate sauce. The dessert was a huge success that everyone enjoyed.

Here they are right out of the oven. I think they are supposed to be a bit taller but, like I said, they were very light and tasty.
