Lunching at the 5 Mile House in Nevada City, CA is always a fun experience for us. Every now and then we don't get the Cuban Sandwich but today we did order it. See how tasty it looks! The sandwich and some crispy fries and we're feeling fine!
Our favorite waitress, Desiree, already knows what we're going to order. The sandwich is so delicious, it's hard not to order it. Although everything we've eaten at the 5 Mile House has been great.
The Old 5 Mile House is a family owned restaurant nestled in the heart of the Gold Country, 5 miles east of historic Nevada City, CA. They love good food, good beers, good wines, good folks and good times. The building is an historic stagecoach stop built in 1890. Each month the restaurant features food from a different region around the world. The meals are prepared to represent the most popular dishes from these regions. It's a fun, interesting menu with lots of delicious choices in regional cuisines.
